1972 Norton 850 Commando Cafe Racer Much Money Spent

1972 NORTON 850 COMMANDO CAFE RACER    WILL TAKE PART X WHY This was completely rebuilt just 430 miles ago with no expense spared and is basically a new bike. I am selling this on behalf of a friend and will try to list some of what has been done. There is a big bag of receipts with the bike a lot of which came from Mick Hemmings. This has had more money spent on it than we are asking, a definite good buy.Frame has been nickel plated. New Norvil forks, AP racing calipers. AP master cylinder, twin discs, mk3 engine mounts, Norvil head steady. British chrome rims and stainless spokes at the front, good original rear wheel, TT100 tyres. New alloy petrol tank, also new fiberglass tank. New fairing, seat, belt drive kit, Mikuni carb and manifold. Complete engine rebuild with big valve head, new alternator and rotor, new Boyer Bransden ignition and coils etc etc. Bike has S type exhaust system and looks very smart. I rode this bike last summer and it goes very well with a very nice exhaust note. In case anybody notices fairing was just mounted for pics and all mounting brackets are there, it was removed for transport. Bike is currently on sorn, will need MOT.
